The Majestic Coastline of Carmel and Big Sur
Carmel Magazine* recently featured “A Bird’s Eye View Of Beauty,” a photo-essay by Robert Knight, who presents us with the beauty of the Central Coast from a new perspective. Majestic aerial scenes of nature are photographed as if seen by a bird, gliding across the sky, traversing over land and sea.
By helicopter, Knight catches dramatic photos of a winter storm at Pinnacle Point, Pelicans and seagulls flying together in perfect unison in a local estuary, and wildflowers blooming after the wildfires in the Santa Lucia Mountains of Big Sur.
Robert Knight is a nature and wildlife photographer from Carmel, CA. He is the recipient of the prestigious BBC Wildlife Photographer of the year competition, and his award-winning images were exhibited at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. His fine art photography is showcased in the Robert Knight Gallery located in Carmel-by-the-Sea. 831/626-1230 or visit www.robertknightgallery.com
